Hey guys, looking for some advice on how to reprogram my MK5 Jetta keyfob back to my car, not sure how it’s not synced to it, after changing the keyfob battery it will no longer do anything. I’m trying to avoid having to go to the dealer and pay a few hundred bucks. i only have the one key. TIA.

i don’t think so, i am getting a blinking red light on the fob, which before replacing wasn’t happening. was just dead.

Ah cool, that’s good sign. Never had to reprogram a fob after battery replacement, so this is new to me. Sorry I don’t have any more ideas, good luck mate
