Generally, stick to the normal tire size, but if you get any snow you want to lean towards a narrower tire if you deviate from the factory size. If you want tires you can use all year without doing a wheel swap, look at https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=CrossClimate2&partnum=455VR8CC2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes as they carry the three peak snow rating (if you get an occasional snowstorm) but will also perform well in cold weather and warm weather.
