I’m planning on changing my transmission fluid. My car has been like holding gears before actually shifting or like shifting very sluggishly like if I hold it at the redline it’ll redline a bit before shifting, then when it shifts it’s a rough shift. I did some research and some people said to flush it a few times. There were also people that said never change the fluid on a Honda. The thing is this car has 150kish miles idk when it was last changed?? Any advice anyone could give? Do I change the fluid? Is there anything else I should check like a solenoid?

Do you understand the difference between a flush and a fluid change?
A fluid change is almost always fine
A full flush is more likely to cause problems on higher mileage cars
What’s the difference? Im sorry I was just talking about draining and refilling. Im guessing that’s a change. Is that what’s okay to do?
in theory, yes
"With a flush, all the old fluid is removed by a flush machine and replaced with new fluid, allowing for optimal transmission performance. A fluid change is a drain-and-refill, with some old fluid remains in the transmission after the change, which can contaminate the new fluid — and diminish performance."
Drain and refil is less likely to get rid of the little ground up bits of your transmission
or at least that's what people smarter than I am say lmao
