GG @supple briar, you just advanced to level 3! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
deffinetly check if your hoses are not broken or thwt they are on secure.or a hole in the radiator.I would reccomend also joining the rx7 discord server
I would definitely think it’s a hose since it’s a older car
Oh it's you again
Check your hoses
And make sure there's not air in the cooling system
LMAO
Well what have you done? Any of those issues you said were fixed pertain to engine cooling?
In efforts to fix the problem I changed the coolant. Added super coolant. checked hoses. Changed thermostat. Come to find out the guy before me just removed the thermostat entirely. I imagine to fix the overheating. the fan wasn’t turning in so i installed a 2215 CfM fan connected to an auxillery switch so i can manually turn it on. Even with all that the car still overheats in 15 minutes
I do have consistent bubbling in the coolant system. Potentially a leak somewhere but i can’t find it anywhere
ignition timing was fixed. carburetor was tuned. Fuel filter changed. 2 new spark plugs. new gas and cleaned out gas tank. So i guess not really except the ignition timing and carb tune but those don’t really affect it much
do you have the link? also not really an rx7 anymore 😂
as long as it has the same engine the stock hoses shoulf work
it has a 1969 C2 corvette engine
