My alternator belt is loose and I'd like to tighten it but I have no clue what kind of tool would fit to get to this bolt

Well that will be your point of adjustment. A wrench or a ratchet with the correct size will do.

Ah I mean as in what would get in that tight space. I've tried wrenches and flex head ratchets
