Probably not
250-300 whp in a sub 2k lbs car is more then enough for this build
If I was doing a time attack car with a class specific motor I would be doing a AWD k20a with turbos into it
The car will already have a power to weight ratio of 6
anything more is reaching undailyable levels

I would run a very small turbo
And lower the compression ratio
Gives a lil turbo lag + adds a whole new set of reliability issues for a car that has similar power to weight as a 911 gt3 RS

I'd leave the compression ratio and run itb's. You should be able to hit your hp goals with that
