In the last six months while I am driving the battery sign randomly turns on (around 1 to 3 times a month). It stays for a couple of hours turning on everytime I drive it and goes away in the next day.
Today I was driving and the same thing happened, I stopped to put directions on the GPS and the radio started acting up, I found it weird and I guess my instinct was to restart the car. Well, it turned off but not on again, needed to ask a friend to connect his car to mine, after that it drove just fine.
What do you think it's the problem?

Your battery might be bad, I would consider running a test on your battery, or maybe just go to your mechanic and tell them about the problem, but I think that the problem is the battery.
Today I tried to use an multimeter to test the battery and I got the full 12.55V and 14. something with the car on. Do you think it can still be the battery or should I be looking for something else?
From my personal experience, I think that it can still be the battery, there are battery testers that tell you stuff about the battery, but you would need to go to your mechanic or buy a tester yourself and some of those testers are quite pricey, so I rather recommend going to your local mechanic and describe them the issue.
