Hi all. Could anyone help me size this bolt. It's on a 1969 Ford Fairlane. I'm in Ireland and it seems to be a size that's not used in Europe. See image. I tried 20mm (0.787 inch) and that's too small, I tried 21mm (0.826 inch) and that's too large. Is it American imperial measurements? Is there something like a 0.8 inch wrench and nut size? Thanks.

Probably a 13/16ths
Thanks a mil. Right you are!
everything in 60-70s american cars is in imperial, half the time you can get away with metric
Thanks Wasp.
Anyone know how to decide whether you need to replace your steel wheels? I'm getting all new tires. Could do it but don't want to waste money either.
steelies are fine for a daily/weekend driver, no need to get worried of potholes bending your wheel
one thing tho, if you have stock 14" wheels, it'd be better to get some 15x7s stock style wheels, way more tire options
its the first thing i do when i buy classics
Thanks Wasp, I've got 4 new 195/75R14s in the post 😁 Damn, should have checked here first. Kinda want to keep it as original as possible anyway, I would make an exception for tires and brakes from a safety POV however.
And yeah, it was very hard to find 20mm white walls.

I do like the hub caps though.
