Hi guys, my rover 200 has been over heating for a while, around 2 or 3 years ago I had this problem but applied a special liquid that AFAIK its job was to glue the head gasket e which worked until now.

The overheating is back and at the time I was told not to use that liquid again has it shouldn't be abused so instead of risking it I wanted to fix it

I saw that my radiator was clogged and was not passing the anti freeze, I put a new one but still overheating, also took the thermostate valve off so that the anti freeze acts directly but no luck.

Any chance that it's just the head gasket or is the gssket meaning I need a whole new engine because it's just better ( at least in my country) since changing the gasket alone is a absurd cost?

Probably clogged your entire cooling system because those magic liquids become all gooy.

Yea probably what happened to the radiator, all the pipes are not tho, the car also shows white smoke out of the exhaust pipe and humity comes out of it

#

AFAIK this is 100% the head gasket and hope its not the gasket itself, I just would like to know your guys opinion on this

If it was a headgasket there would be oil in your coolant / coolant in your oil

#

It's possible that you've got that radiator / gasket sealant jammed inside of the thinner pipes or engine block. Although I highly doubt it unless an absurd amount of that liquid was put in.

#

How's your coolant pump? Could that be a possible issue? @queen fox

#

Although that white smoke definitely points to a blown head gasket 🤔
