Car Totaled or not?

Crashed a Mercedes eqb 2022 perfect condition new car someone please tell me wether you think it’s totaled or not. The picture below shows where the damage is done. That is the only damage to the car as well as the airbags coming out nothing inside the car is broken.

insurance will total it
even though all it takes is replacing the airbag, the trim they break, and resetting the srs module

take about 20 minutes

They may total the car. It looks like you hit the cables that hold up a power or a telco pole. But these SUVs are not cheap. Honestly, your best bet is GAP insurance. Hope you have it

Too me this looks cosmetic, meaning these parts most likely can be replaced without doing frame work.

Have you made a claim yet? They should be able to tell you in a few days from your claim

The only vehicle I've seen come in that damaged was a Ford Transit that was t-boned. Company owned vehicle so they had oodles of money to fix it
Airbags did not deploy though

Yeah but it’s the front right fender that is damaged and those parts look replaceable. I’m simply basing this off of two photos. The chassis portion at that location looks like it can be repaired

airbags have to go through a very specific and strict regulation of standards so they have to get extra inspected. That in itself takes too much of a hassle to repack the airbags
