Hello, I'm being offered one of these cars by a family member. Which one should I take?

Chevy Silverado 2012 ( 1 Cab)
Chevy Tahoe 2010 (LT)

I agree with the Tahoe. If you have a specific use for the silv then it's alright. If not, the Tahoe (if it's in decent condition) will serve you well

Cause I live in a desert, some roads here are trash asf so that's why I was considering the Silverado

Well at least you have a bullet proof motor. I believe those came with the 4L80 trans as well.

I'd get the Tahoe. Its as tough as a Silverado with extra covered storage. LT trim is nice as well
