I truly enjoyed driving the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. Rented one and out about 3k miles driving up north. Great vehicle.
As for the compass, I think your right as far as practicality goes. Would make more sense. However I personally wouldn’t get a compass.
I purchased a RAV4 TRD Off Road. Since it’s a Toyota product and had a phenomenal warranty.
