I heard that straight piping a diesel is a bad idea because of the emissions and the black smoke coming out of the exhaust.
Another question here is that does the smoke coming out of the exhaust depend on how much cc the vehicle has?

A stock healthy modern diesel shouldn't smoke even with the filters removed.

I'm not sure what the case is on those cars but I've heard many diesels actually benefit from removing all the emissions stuff

Oh lucky. My muffler is broken and everytime I drive past cops I have to keep the car in a specific rpm range 😭
