Get a Toyota Camry/Corolla or a Honda Civic/Accord. Don't ask anything else, as it is a commonly asked question and interrupts conversations.
Get something less expensive
if you like electric
try ioniq 5 or 6
have you looked at those
and by first car
what do you mean
have you driven a car before, long time etc
how long have you been driving
GG @gentle cypress, you just advanced to level 1! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
it still starts at $120000 usd\
get something from genesis if you really want a luxury car
less expensive and there are electric versions
and they look better
Don't buy a new bmw unless you like spending money for no good reason. I also like genesis, and the kia telluride is 30k-ish where i am and is comparable with a Cadillac escalade
If you make that much you don't need to worry about gas
Adding another recommendation for the Genesis lineup
The more I learn of them the more I want one. Best bang for luxury buck. Let me at a GV80
200k my ass
engineering salaries range from 70-150k
Engineer ? Do you mean software engineer ?
Bro when people say engineer they think chem mech comp electrical engineer
not software
Computer science guys do all the coding normally
If you want something luxurious and have the money get a Lexus.
You have so many options, sport coupes, sport sedans, sedans for comfort, suvs etc etc
And you get Toyota reliability so no issue there
If not look at Acuras.

Honestly if this is your first car i suggest just get a cheap car first, then when youre alr driving for like a year, you can switch to a better car
GG @zenith wave, you just advanced to level 6! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
Most ppl crash or atleast scratch/dent their first car, so its better not to get anything fancy
Ohhh i see
Yeah maybe you shouldve put than on the title
I assume youre pretty new to cars based on ur previous chats? If yes then maybe you should get smth more reliable, im thinking smth like the new type r
Or if you wanna get a really fancy sports/super car then you might consider having a daily since most sports/super cars dont rlly make a great daily driver
Lexus suck? They are one of the most reliable of the luxury brands.
If you want something reliable you could never go wrong with a Honda or a Toyota
Might give the Lexus dealer a go then ngl
Tbh, if you want any electric car
Lease it
Then get rid of it, then you never have problems, not even with the battery
Have you tought about an Audi ?
Even the new gen Nissans are good cars. And you might find dealers doing very good warranties
This is at a Nissan dealership in Orlando
Look up Volvo's too, I think you might like their design
Polestar maybe
Even my RAV4 TRD is 10 Year/250,000 warranty
Coming from a Saab fan. The S60s look phenomenal
Would love one as a daily if I were to get a new Sedan
No offense but that's a not so founded opinion
Agreed
I'm not much of a Audi Fan so I don't know all their models etc, but maybe look up A5-A6-A7
No
You said you wanted something to rely on.
Mercedes-Benz C200 (2022) has an absolutely horrible build quality for that price!

You make good money. If you can get almost anything you want but if you truly want reliability then you would want to look at the Japanese market.
Just keep the Accord and spend your money traveling lol
I mean like what the person above me said; you make good money, so what i think is you can prob get another car as a project car and keep the accord as your daily driver
Thats what most ppl do, even i had a toyota yaris as a daily driver
Not gonna lie, I’ve always liked the idea of a hatchback Yaris lol
Whats ironic is that the yaris handles better than my project car
Just get a 2.0 accord
@gentle cypress have you tried going to a dealership already ? Maybe you'll be able to test the cars
All of my tech friends want Audis for some reason. Looks like that's a trend for middle to upper middle class tech people. They're great cars overall.
Here's a breakdown of what car to get for what you expect
All speed no reliability -> BMW
Speed / some reliability -> Mercedes
Speed / less reliability / looks -> Audi
Less speed with reliability -> Volvo
I'd recommend walking into each of those 4 brand dealerships and trying a car. Then make a decision for that.
