Hi, I've loosened some of the bolts on my car's engine bay and the ones holding down my spoiler. They were very difficult to unscrew so I'm assuming there was some sealant. Will I need to re-add the sealant? If so, does the brand matter?

I don't remmeber for sure but i think they were blue

M.8 bolts

I touched the ones that held down my spoiler and hood

If it's blue then that's blue loctite (or similar)

and that'll lock the bolt back in place so that's its hard to unscrew?

Which is meant to hold a bolt in but still allow it to be removed with hand tools

Cuz they were very difficult to unscrew originally
