So I bought my Hawkeye a week ago and last night I checked my oil again and the dipstick said I had barely anything. I did an oil change last night and now again it’s showing that I have barely any oil. I do have a dented oil pan but I don’t think that would cause this. Anyone able to help?

Don't run it until you find out where the oil went there'smight still be 2 quarts of oil assuming you engine take 4 quarts if your two quarts low you cant see it on the dip stick so there might still be quite a bit
Of oil in it
Check your coolant. Does it look like a milkshake color consistency? Lot of oil to go missing.
Have you checked for leaks? Is this the original turbo? Do you think you have blowby?
This is why I will never own a subie. I agree with Gonzo-check your coolant ASAP.
What does the exhaust fumes look like?
Subarus do burn more oil that inline and v6 engines, so even small leaks in the gaskets or pool buildups from oil sitting on the side of the head can be a cause too.
Somebody told me that the oil can also get easily past the piston rings on high mileage Subarus. Idk if that is fully true though
Whoever thought putting an engine sideways was a good idea was very, very stupid

if you are buring a lot of oil you would have a lot of blowby. you could test at the oilcap or with a leakdown. yolu would also have black wet soot at the tail pipe and bumper.
Its designed for aircraft and actually a clever idea for a prop driven aircraft.
GG @jade palm, you just advanced to level 2! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
Avg subie 5 miles from the factory

Not really unless that aircraft is of a high maneuver type. The problem with the engine is that it works against gravity.
That is why it is stupid
its symmetrical and lower cg
The head over time with deform the head stud dowels and damaged the gaskets; also oil flow is pretty shit sometimes as oil can pool
Also on high mileage engines, the pistons can wear out the bores faster on the bottom side of the bore facing down
It’s stupid
Especially when the engine is not being developed and created by a quality company
i can confirm that every aircraft I've flown has had an upright inline engine
it's more efficient and less likely to fail
