so my gma is selling her 08 honda CRV for $2500-$3000 and it has 200k miles but i think theyre mostly highway miles (my grandma has owned it since 70k miles, has records of all maintenance since 2013, when she bought it)
i have $13k in total for a car and i’d rather have a paid off car. should i buy this one or just get a used SUV outright

dont get that car my man. these kids dont know what they are talking about. If it has 200k miles on it, dont bother wasting your money. find a decent car with lower mileage on local websites until you find something you like.

Sounds like a solid buy for 3k ! If your GMA has papers there no worries at 200k Mi. Those cars with mileage are selling for 5k and more local to me. Its a K series motor which whole can be had for 2k or less for replacements.

CRVs are jumping in value so I'd hop on that deal, plus you'd have spare money afterwards, used car dealerships charge an arm and a leg for vehicles that aren't even worth test driving
