#1987 Porsche 944 throttle issue

Have you checked the fuel filter? It could be dirty and clogged up a bit, causing less fuel to reach the engines
Also check the fuel pump
Does your car have poor idle?
Might be throttle body issue
Is the throttle body mechanical or electronic in your car? Ik older cars have wires for the throttle body
It has a throttle cable
Is it in any form clogged?
Or some dirt inside
GG @next scaffold, you just advanced to level 1! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
Havent checked the air filter actually
Meant to but didnt have a long enough screwdriver
Also check the PCV valves, might be blocked and check are there any vacuum leaks
Most of the vacuum lines are new, not sure where he pcv valves are
Other than that maybe there are like oxygen sensors and a bunch sensors I don’t know the name of.
Did you get new injectors or you got them cleaned?
You might need to visit some kind of shop to get them professionally cleaned
Or buy new ones
Any ideas on how much that would cost to get them cleaned?
I have no idea
I’ll do a google search
Plus is there a chance that it has low compression? Don’t know does it have to do with this but it’s an old car, and that might be a slight issue
Compression is ok I think, starts easy
Ive driven it and it feels fine above 3k rpm
Just feels like pressing on the gas pedal doesnt really do anything
Can you just get a mechanic to check things over for you? There are numerous causes for this issue I think
