I am starting to have some issues with my car.
It is a 2012 subaru impreza 2.0i premium with the CVT

Over the last few weeks, the car feels far more sluggish then usual.

Normally I would need only 2500-3500 RPM to get to 30 MPH. But recently I have needed to get into the 4000-5000 range. and is far louder then before.

When I shift into drive, it takes about 2 seconds to get into drive. when before it would take less then a second.

Plus when I do shift into drive, it always lurches decently hard. It does not do this when going into reverse.

The car has started idling at much higher RPMs, normally around 700, now around 1500 ( Even after its warmup is done and have been driving for 30 minutes)

The car is just loud as shit. Road noise, We just got one at my job. same year, just not a hatchback. And it is so incredibly quiet. Plus it has 50k more miles without these issues.

The car is chugging through so much more fuel then before. 35MPG -> 15 mpg. over the past 2 weeks.

Plus the car I have also has other things that need to be done.

Like the front bumper needs to be replaced due to a accident that happened before I purchased.

The Air intake box is missing, anything before the air filter,

There are a couple of rust spots under the paint,

The CV Axle boots need to be replaced near immediatly.

The car pulls slightly to the left.

Given all this. I still love this car. I have had it since 2019. It was my first car that was mine. I do not know what the hell is wrong with it,
Whether I repair or buy a new vehicle, I will need to get a loan.

Kinda just a personal connection with it. due to it being with me my entire adult life.

So given the title, should I drop and get everything repaired, or trade this vehicle in for what it is worth on another vehicle,

Thank you.

You should trade it in. It really depends on your financial situation and how bad you need a car. For example, I'm underwater in repairs on my Jetta but I'm in a situation where I really need my car. My car will need a new auto gearbox in 2 years due to bad gear slippage caused by not changing the transmission fluid regularly. For your next car you need to service the transmission fluid between 30k and 60k miles to avoid any gearbox issues after 100,000+ miles.
