Hello,

After I drive for a while and then come to a stop [everything was fine while driving].
I stop for lets say 2 minutes [engine stays on]

My car suddenly works slower, like it's losing power it accelerates slower and boost [turbo] is loading slower and i feel like car is suffering.

But when I turn it off and on again it works normally after that. Sometimes when I just start I have this problem, but when i turn it off and on again it works normally.

Please help.

Car : VW Golf Mk.5 Gt, 1.4 tsi
170hp, year: 2006

And I think it idles at less rpm then usual when this occurs

check for vacuum leaks, boost leaks, cracks on the intake manifold, etc

Should I be worried that my engine is fucked up?

U can be sure its not ur engine

Cause loss of power suddenly means some sort of electrical issue

Did u add an aftermarket mods to ur engine

Such as some high power coil packs

Or some high consumption lights of any sort

It could also be something simple as ur battery dying

#

Try changing the battery

#

And if the battery not the problem then ur alternator may not be making optimal voltage output

#

And sometimes its working and sometimes not

#

U can check if ur alternator is good by starting the car and disconnecting the battery

If the car runs better as soon as u disconnect battery that means ur alternator is good

#

Use a voltmeter to check output while ur at it

#

Also check battery output as well
