#Rivian Brake Conversion

@fervent cairn What does wheel design and size have to do with the presence of regenerative braking?
I see Rivian in the title but rimac in the body. Needs clarification there as well once
Wheels would not change regenerative braking, why would they change that lol. Wheel size will only change ur mpg/mpc. Also make sure if u are getting larger rims or whatever make sure the tires have sound dampening foam in them. Evs make no sound so they don’t have any engine noise to kill out road noise. If u don’t get any foam insulation on the inside of the tire it will sound like it has studded tires on all the time.
I would need smaller brakes for the 15 inch rims
Bruh why would u put on smaller brakes. Ur going to have a worse stopping distance
Bruh wtf is thinking behind this
It's very common to put a smaller rim on for tires

UglyTruck needs more traction! We're installing 15" drag wheels and tires out back, but in order to allow the wheels to fit, we need to modify the rear brakes. I am using a kit from 1320 wheels that allows the use of calipers, pads, and rotors from an older silverado, and they are a more compact design which means a 15x10 drag wheel can fit out ...
Umm not really actually, mainly if the tread can’t fit in the wheel well u raise the car
No it's so you can have a thicker tire wall without changing the overall size
Bruh don’t do this dumb ass shit, if u want fricken fat ass tread that can’t fit in ur wheel well raise ur car
It'll fit in the wheel well fine the overall size of the diameter doesn't change
It's just more tire less rim
Bruh so u are complaining about tread depth
No I'm saying I will need smaller brakes to fit the smaller rim
Why
To fit 15 inch welds
Ya that is stupid
Don’t change em
Is this all for looks
I need the slicks
GG @fervent cairn, you just advanced to level 5! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
Should fit underneath ur wheel well
No I quite literally will need them
Yes it's just the brakes that don't fit
No slicks should fit on ur stock rims
Just not crazy ones
Bruh u have a ev it has electronic braking systems and stuff I would not fuck with that shit. U are also going to void ur warranty
Doubt u care about that though
Have u ever even done brake work before
I'm working with unplugged performance this car is gonna be stripped to a tin can
U know also brake callipers are not universal
Yes
Good luck getting it to work with ur rotors and steering knuckle lmao
I am swapping out my skylines brakes and rotors. They are from a r33gtt but they fit my na r34 car because the mounts have smaller holes. If I were to go with r34gtt calipers I would have to drill and tap shit
Better to go with bolt ons that fuck up ur car potential
I would not wanna fuck with a very important component on a car for literally no reason
U don’t need to have slicks to go to a track I hope u know
If u want a fast ev for the strip should’ve bought a plaid anyways
Bruh everyone is looking for big brake and rotor upgrades and this mf is talking about a downgrade lmao 😂
Contact patch, the larger the better heat dissipation
Fast way to get brake fade
