So as the title says my racks cracked and I don't got the money to buy a new one if I let's say weld or do some of that strong resen glue will that stop the leak?

On the rack and pinion casing off to the drivers side

Rack was cracked before the alignment but it never seemed to leak but after the alignment it's cracking not sure if it's something inside that I can't see.

I don't think that's something you can weld. Maybe JB weld will sloe the leak but it's probably fucked

jb weld can fix it if the crack is small

#

had a pinhole in my oil pan on my truck that was streamingoil

#

leak stopped with jb weld

#

you just gotta make sure you rough sand wherever the crack is

if its on the casing and its power steering you need to have it welded

#

unless you have a friend or can do it yourself a new rack would be cheaper

Never welded myself and don't have a friend. A new rack will cost me 400+ which I don't got to throw at this right now not to mention labor I'll just try the jb weld thanks

@narrow frost rough sand the area, make sure its super clean, and not leaking anymore

#

then after you apply the jb weld, you have to let it set for 24 hours
