hole in my coolant?

2013 gti, not sure what’s goin on here but it looks like there’s a small hole where my coolant sits.

so that is called your coolant reservoir. I cant speculate how that even happened 😂 but the only way to fix that is getting a new one

if you're mechanically able, buy a new one, drain the system, replace, refill and burp.

if not, ask for quotes from local shops for replacing it

Good news is I just bought it

So the place I bought it from should replace it for me

super minor then. I'd contact where you bought it and explain after looking you noticed the hole, ask what they can do for you

I'm not a huge VW person but I've heard of carbon build up and maybe chains(?)

carbon build up service is good for most cars tbh

but personally nah, other's here might
