When Gaihla is damaged, she roots/entagles enemies around her. It makes her feel more of an entity of the forest.

I'd like Gaihla to be able to summon a tree like unit as part of her 'Forest friend' tech. But i like your suggestion, however, not sure if it's balance against other clans
