#I don't get password recovery mails

Steam is only connecting through mail now. I created an account a long time ago. I don't remember my password anymore, but I am using the correct mail adress (because when I want to create a new account there is written "account exists already"). When I active "Reset password" through the Steam app or website I don't get an e-mail with the verify code. How to fix?

Did you check every spam folder with your email client? I know some of them have multiple folders emails can hide from you in

Yes, I checked them, but nothing arrives. I opened now a support ticket like described above.

Same issue here, just created the account and nothing is coming into my inbox. Created a ticket just now, so hopefully it gets rectified.

Steam is full of bugs for Vegas Infinite; I never received my winnings and had to submit multiple tickets a day. Now I play directly through my headset. Believe me, it's a blessing in disguise.

but i ve got the same vegas account for steam or meta, cant u find your password with meta ?

Hi there, I wrote many mails with the support and they are not seeing very interested in solving this problem. They told me my user name is different than Steam. I sended them my Steam-ID and two mail addresses which I maybe used. But they said only that they are not connecting. They never answered on this questions: Why they change from Steam-auth to mail/password? They just close the ticket without answering my questions (maybe I was writing with AI bot).

I never spent money on this game, but it's disappointing how less they are interested in their players. Seems to be here that nothing will happens, because I am sure if I write to Steam they don't care about neither ...

I understand u, the Steam/Vegas Infinite connection is really weird and buggy. For my part, if it helps, I have the same account on both platforms. Same email address, same password, and when I switch accounts, my chips, special clothing, etc., remain the same… However, my avatar changes depending on which account I log in with! The MetaQuest one or the VR one!

I also noticed that on a loading screen, they indicate that PokerSuperstar "something" became "Vegas Infinite VR" upon integration of VR. Personally, I deduce from this that Steam has rights related to VR, therefore responsibilities, and that it must be a real mess…

I also met someone in-game who was in the same situation and had a new character 🙁

"For my part, if it helps, I have the same account on both platforms." -> The problem is that I don't remember my password anymore (see initial post). And they don't want to send me a recovery mail manually to my mail account. I am feeling trolled by the support team.

It's still strange. Did you search for "Steam" as a keyword in your emails? Sometimes they appear just about anywhere. Was the email the right one? Yes, I know these are rather silly questions, but Steam is usually quite reliable for recovering a forgotten password.

I don't need to search for "Steam", because I wanted to restore my Vegas Infinite-password. The said that the e-mail is wrong, but I don't have other. So I cannot login through Steam anymore, because my account is now connected with an mail-account (I didn't know about that and maybe I never created an account on Vegas Infinite) and the support won't help to get back my account. I'm playing only for achievements on Steam.

Here are the most common reasons why the password reset email doesn’t arrive i found :

  1. Your email provider may be blocking Steam’s messages.
Check Spam, Junk, Promotions, or any filtered folders.
  2. If your email has variations (dots, aliases, uppercase), Steam may treat them as different addresses.
  3. If your account was originally linked to an old phone number, Steam may block the reset request.
  4. Some email providers automatically filter Steam messages.
  5. If you’re using a VPN, Steam may refuse to send the reset email.

What you can try:

  • Check all folders (Spam, Junk, Promotions).
  • Add “[email protected]” to your contacts.
  • Try requesting the reset again after disabling VPN.
  • Try using the “I no longer have access to this email/phone” option on Steam Support.
