Can't receive in-game gifts even with "show gifts" turned on.

Anyone has an idea why this could be happening and what solution can I try? I tried turning it off and on again but it still doesn't work, I just don't receive them, even hours/day after.
Would really appreciate any kind of help 🙏

I play on Oculus Quest 2 but the account was originally made on Steam VR, don't know if that changes something or not

Okay, thank you for the help, I was hoping I was in a situation that happens to many but it seems like no, everyone keep telling to turn on the show gift 😂 , I'm here trying all I can with that button.

So turned out that it's because I played pokerstars years and years ago on my oculus rift cv1 and then when I switch to steam vr with my valve index ofc I bought back the game, now when they made the Vegas infinite account you were able to link your account to an email, so I linked my steam account to my e-mail, when I went back to play on my Oculus but through Oculus but this time using my Vegas infinite account (which was originally created on Steam). So here's what's happening, when someone gift me stuff and I'm playing through my oculus not Steam VR on my Vegas infinite account it sends the gifts to my original account created on Oculus even if I'm playing with my vegas infinite account.

They transferred everything people had been gifting me and told me that they were working on a solution but, at the moment I'm telling people to not gift me until they fix that bug since, I'm not receiving those gifts, my old account is.

If you have the same issue I would say contact them at least they'll give you the gifts that were sent to your other account

good to know. what I had happen is a friend of mine gifted me an item and I didn't receive it and I waited about an hour or so and still nothing so I tried to gift him something myself and it worked no problems. so he proceeded to send me a different gift to see if it was working and I once again didn't receive anything but it did use my friends token on both gifts he sent me but I still didn't get anything. I had an htc vive before and my first account was on steam as well know I'm playing on a quest and I linked my account just the same way so it seems we have had a very similar experience. ill submit a ticket now and get it out of the way. did they end up giving you the lost gifts and if so how long did it take to take action ? i don't mean to have so much word vomit but I just don't want my friends tokens to go away do you think they could refund him ? they weren't cheap gifts at all :(

They did transfer mine back 🙂 ofc it's not automatic but they did it manually when they answered my ticket.

It didn't took that long but a few days. I felt the same way, I felt bad for the people gifting me nice stuff. Now I'm like telling everyone that I see gifting stuff or talking about gifting me stuff

so you didn't receive the gift after the fix but they did refund ? did i understand that correct ?? (I'm trying to clarify so I can tell my friend about it and he can rest easy)

I did received my gifts, they asked me the name of the account and once they found it they transfered the gift to my good account
