Go play fishing minigame and do the fishing quest first and it will get you like 10~ level in fishing, which is a decent boost to your talent points for your warrior classes

start buying distilled water in alchemy liquid shop everyday, you will need it to craft your tab 2 weapon and efaunt armor

Rush to Specius on the 3rd map for each character to get them their Subclass. Barbarians, Bowmen, and Shaman are the best choices while in world 2.

Alchemy will maximize your efficiency. Check these videos for full details,(links in description), but in short, just make sure to unlock new bubbles when you can and upgrade them whenever you can

Remember to equip big bubbles when you get them

Sandcastles (Accuracy), Moonmoons (Active Exp), and Snelbies (Card Drop Chance) are the world 2 cards that are the most helpful for progressoin

Once you've unlocked the post office, the most important boxes to upgrade are: Fight (for Afk characters), Utility (for your main active character), and All the skilling boxes for their respective classes (i.e Mining for Warriors, Catching for Bowman specifically, etc)

#

Unlock vials by dropping resources. These are the best early vials to get (list of resources here)

#

The notorious Bandit B.O.B is found through the portal at the bottom of the mimics map

Buy and use the Armor II stones bought from the world 2 town shop on all your armor pieces

Buy distilled water from the alchemy shop whenever you can, the distilled water will come in handy later

Buy the Tick Tock star book from the alchemy shop as soon as possible, and put star talent points into it. Its one of the best star talents in the game!

The 7th green bubble, shaquracy, is essential to get enough accuracy late in world 2

Try to craft some Amarok gear for your dedicated fighter class whenever you can

Put your world 2 task marits into Obol drop and AFK rate for all your characters

Be sure to check back on Stamps and Bribes in world 1 on occasion, since youll get more stamps from world 2 mobs and money to get new bribes!

alchemy is the town skill of w2, and it is JUST AS important as smithing new gear in w1 - you need to upgrade those bubbles/vials to progress! don't ignore it just because it seems overwhelming at first

Tip #1 Enemies get stronger as you progress from W1 to W2
Improve equipment at the anvil and equip food into food slots

I don't know about most folks but I didn't know where to go when I couldn't kill pots or poops
So I went to sticks for a while

First thing you should do after unlocking W2 is taking each character to the alchemy cauldron in town to "unlock" the skill, then assign each character to a cauldron. Characters earn 2x experience if assigned to a liquid cauldron as opposed to a bubble cauldron.

1.get yourself some amarok armor but not the helmet first before you explore the world
2.unlock alchemy and watch lavas guide on alchemy if you dont understand it
3.unlock post office as soon as you can bcs it will be worth it. if you dont know how to get the boxes for the quest you need to unlock tab 2 of anvil first only then you can create the boxes with the materials needed
4.if you are wondering about what subclass you should pick choose the subclass that helps w2 skill as that class will help you the most (like shaman, barbarian, bowman)
5.dont forget to equip big bubbles in alchemy as some people dont know that you have to equip it first
6.unlock obols by scaring the cat away using the bobjoepickle from the w2 shop. you can get obols from the w2 merit
7.try playing in the colosseum 2 as it will give you some useful items even if you dont beat all the waves
8.talk to walupiggy at yum yum desert and try doing the treasure hunts as it will give you some amazing items that will help you when you are starting
9.try joining a guild as it will give you some bonus and guild gifts that can help to get gems

Tip: Equip a spear and speed potions, and maybe the movement speed starsign when doing Cattleprod's quests. (Same works for Centurion's mimic killing quest! or any other timed quest!)

Tip: Get Barbarian, Bowman, and Shaman as your first subclases as they have the talents that deal with world 2 resources and systems

Tip: Break Bug Nests on your highest damaging character for a bigger bonus before switching over to your Bowman to catch (Pls fix bonus doesn't actually work)

Tip: Cards to look out for and farm in world 2 include, Sandcastles (Accuracy), Moonmoons (Active Exp), and Snelbies (Card Drop Chance)

Tip: Once you've unlocked the post office, the most important boxes to upgrade are: Fight (for Afk characters), Utility (for your main active character), and All the skilling boxes for their respective classes (i.e Mining for Warriors, Catching for Bowman specifically, etc)

Tip: Barbarian is the best class to active on during early and mid world 2, before your Hunter starts becoming strong *wink

Tip: Look out for Efaunt's (W2 Boss) Bottom/Top Left and Top Right Arms. They are most certainly going to oneshot you as a new player to world 2

Bonus tip: Don't throw away the peanut bag goldric gave you

Tip : Be sure to buy Silver Antique items daily from the Encroaching Forest Villa shop if you can afford it because you will need it in World 2

Tip : Drop some items on the ground in front of the alchemy cauldron to get some bonuses. Refer to wiki for full list

Tip : The Kebabs and the Crabbey Cakes for the Sub-class quest is not consumed, so you can use them for your other characters instead of rebuying or refarming them

Subclass

•Subclasses can be found at the third map of world 2

•Like the main class that you get from Prometheus (ie, Warrior, Archer, and Mage) they boost your afk gains by a lot. (The 3 subclasses below should be your priority to breeze through this world

•Shaman
You need this potion throwing Guy in order to do alchemy (The town skill of this world) more efficiently

•Bowman
This very fast guy specializes in catching bugs which is a main material for crafting better equipment

•Barbarian
This guys that likes to cause pain can suit all your fishing needs, which like bugs are important crafting materials for most of the equipment you can make in this world

Pro tip: Remember to always drop everything you get on the ground and pick it back up to save your future self from suffering in getting high looty count

You can get a key to the w2 boss liar from post office shipments or sandstone colosseum chests. This allows you to skip the Djonnut quest and enter w3 faster than normal. (though you will still want to complete Djonnut's first two quests to get your daily keys)

When you unlock w2 there’s a new set of secret quests! “Treasure Hunt” which give very good rewards like time candys. In order to complete all the steps of the treasure hunts you need to watch lava videos that explain all the steps! 5_As soon as you enter W2, you should push your character to reach the third area of the world, where you can meet Speccius and advance to the next class of your character class.

5_ Keep grinding Amarok for Amarok Slabs and crafting them into chestplates, leggings, and boots as they are the best armor you can get for w2. In terms of helmets, you can get an Amarok helmet if you want, but I prefer a gold helmet as it will provide you with a +3% defense. And make sure to enhance your armors with the armor upgrade II. Buy them daily until you reach W3

5_ Perhaps an early 2nd Shaman, so you can take advantage of all the benefits Shaman provides with its Alchemy build. Alchemy is, in my opinion, the best thing that has happened in idleon so far. You can improve your attack, defense, and skill efficiency, among other things. As a result, progressing in alchemy will undoubtedly give you a significant advantage not only in w2, but also in any of the existing worlds.

5_ Getting all of the storage chests in W2 vendor sooner will also help you a lot. Make sure to purchase the Guilding tools (golden hammer) from the vendor and drop it on the W1 statue. It will turn your statue into gold and make your statues account-wide (After turning it into gold, a new tab will pop out and you can buy any statues to make them account wide)

5_ When I was only in W2, I made the mistake of playing it safe and not pushing the map. In W2, what you want to do is keep pushing the map until the very end. If the monsters are doing less than 10, you can continue pushing. Just make sure your character has enough food to stay alive even when It's afk. If you lack accuracy, that is where alchemy comes into play 🙂 You can also use cards to improve accuracy and defense.

I'm too lazy to rewatch the alchemy vid, sorry if some are covered there happy

  1. Like other tips have mentioned, alchemy is very important! I recommend focusing on leveling the first, second, and seventh (numbered VII) bubbles from each cauldron, as well as any others that take your fancy. Bubbles after that point will start requiring W3 materials but the ninth (XI) bubbles are pretty sweet once you get there!

  2. Water cauldrons level your characters faster than colored cauldrons! You can rotate your characters every so often so they level evenly, or hoard all the exp for a select few happy

  3. Wondering what that Boost button does on your colored cauldron? Wait until you have enough charge to brew and switch over to Boost. You can level those four for extra bonuses on that cauldron! I personally level speed and extra until it takes two or more brews for another level, then I work on luck and cost until I'm ready to try for a new bubble.

  4. In the liquids tab, start purchasing some distilled waters every so often. The cost resets daily so don't stress over the increasing price! Future-you will thank you when anvil recipes start requiring them happy Also get the talent points whenever you can!

  5. Check your W1 and W2 maps on your main/most-explored character! See if there are any nodes off the main path that you might've skipped over 👀 There are some interesting and useful things you might be missing out on! (Ignore the last node of W2 though) Side note: it's okay to not have every character be able to reach every map node, but go for it if you'd like everyone to reach everything!

(#5 encourages they check out gigafrogs map, the tree, maybe they notice the sewers, perhaps find bandit bob/party dungeon, and if they missed or forgot them somehow, the mining and fishing maps happy )

post office streak, better do it until streak 20 then reset..

i prefer use my mat to alchemy and other than to post office.. and you can play more relax too.

to post office for 1 point or to alchemy for many benefits.

jolly flame
# empty vale post office streak, better do it until streak 20 then reset.. -----------------...

don't forget you have to lose a day everytime you force a reset, streak 60 would be a better reset point in terms of po box/day efficency.

that being said, 60 days in w2 should easily get you to w3 which gets you deathnote + printer, by then farming these mats for po shouldn't be much of a problem and you should be able to fulfil every order up to streak 100 with minimal planning

Tip: buy a couple of tick tock books from the alch liquid store early on (anything above 50 is fine) & spend the star talent points upgrading it to 50 on everyone

Tip: buy atleast 3 distilled water a day, you can never have enough of those, gradually increase to 5 or 6 per day as your water income improves

Tip: as you unlock more production items on the anvil, it may be tempting to produce only the "strongest" item, however the more advanced an item is, the lesser smithing exp you get per uni time, produce only what you need for your crafts/quests and a little more as a stockpile but don't neglect your early items, especially threads it's used in 15 different things

Tip: climb the rope beside Bandit Bob before talking to him for the first time, you will avoid death and he will drop his card, you only need to do this on one character as he drops enough to instantly get the card to 3 stars.

Tip: you can destroy obols in storage from quick ref, dont leave them on the ground!

Tip: the furthest map you can reach does not necessarily give you the most exp as different mobs have different respawn rate you can always check your afk info to determine the area that will give you the most exp/hr. Some maps are very large and will also benefit from extra movement speed even when you are damage capped for the area.

Tip: the first 3 mobs of w2 drop very useful rare items used in crafting capacity bags and weapons, dont worry too much about rushing ahead, stay there while you improve your defence and accuracy before moving on to later maps

Tip: always check out the new hints you unlock, they are very thorough and will be the answer to 90% of the questions you may face

You don't actually have to kill 99999 sandy pots for the cactus quest (I don't know about most people but I figured it out shortly before I reached W3) (and yes I didn't kill actively at all)

  • when you go to find Bandit Bob for the first time don't stand directly in front of him when you click him, or you'll have regrets ✌️
  • before you attempt to fight the W2 boss, unless you're extremely good at figuring out visual cues and want to do it blind, look up a guide for the fight breakdown, or you'll have a nasty surprise if you're unlucky
  • have you gallivanted around sewers yet in W1?... if you don't remember literally stepping into poop, you're not actually done with W1 yet
  • having at least 1 mage advance to shaman specced into alchemy is a long term necessity starting at W2
  • it may seem like a waste of alchemy liquid at first, but if you're a purely F2P player, grabbing 1-2 gems every day from the liquid tab "store" after their daily cost resets is a reliable passive gem income that adds up over time
  • don't neglect the "pay to win" tab of alchemy, especially the lower right rate/exp investments which only go up as high as the highest level of alchemy any of your characters has

Tip#1
For the boss fight the top right and the bottom left arm are the most dangerous ones because they can oneshot you, but you can attack from the platform below with skills like axe hurl and crazy concoctions so they can't hit you. The top right arm also can't hit you if you use a ranged weapon so if you want to fight efaunt with a warrior take a bow with you.
Tip#2
In W2 there is a mob that only spawns in the colosseum so if you want collect all cards in W2 and you are missing some than that is probably one of them
Tip#3
If you meet Bob for the first time (with that character) for the quest from the cactus go up to the top platform (that one with the butter bar) before you talk to him you will get a 3* card that you will need if you want to collect all W2 cards
Tip#4
If you struggle with the accuracy requirements in W2 try unlocking and upgrading the 7th passive bubble from the green cauldron it will help a lot with your accuracy
There are also cards that will help to boost accuracy like from sandcastles, wood mushroom(they spawn on top of the tree in W1) and veiny logs(found in the middle of the W1 tree)
Tip#5
To unlock new bubbles it is helpful to use a shaman with the talent 'bubble breakthrough' as it is increasing the odds to get a new bubble for example with lv100 in that talent the odds will increase by +200% so instead of a 15% chance you would have a 45% chance to unlock a new bubble

Going Foreward, a lack of Accuracy can become a large hurdle to progress through world 2 (and beyond). A Lack of Defence and HP can be substituted with good Food, and a high Carry Capacity for Food Items, but similar cannot be said for Accuracy (despite the existance of a Gold Food called Butter Bars).
As daunting as it might seem, get all of your Characters a Subclass from the third Map in W2, this includes Characters dedicated to W1 Skills.

If you have a dedicated Woodcutter Mage, you will want to give him the Shaman Subclass, to focus on the Alchemy Experience and Chance for a New Alchemy Bubble

This is because not only will getting a Subclass make Progress in Alchemy Faster to Unlock the "Shaquracy" Bubble (which is the 9th Bubble from the Green Cauldron), but It will also give your Woodcutter access to the Palm Tree. This will not only give you the Palm Wood needed to Level the Bubble, but it will also give you a Card to boost the AFK Gains from Chopping.

  1. World 2 serves as an introduction to using food/accuracy/the important of talents. It also brings use to the Hemo talent unlocked from the world 1 merit shop. There will be times where you take damage, which may come as a shock for those coming from world 1 where you pretty much run through everything. Using food to progress will be normal.
  2. World 2 also serves as the door to really using your characters to collect resources for you and specializing. With presets, this makes your life easier than ever as you do not need to constantly buy fragments if you’re missing fish/bugs for gear, and you will need a lot. It is important to learn how to use your characters as alts – this does not mean you have them collect resources for you forever, but rather to have them assist you in getting over roadblocks before transitioning them back to combat. This game is a constant switch between combat and resource collecting, and going over these ‘roadblocks’ and understanding them is important.
  3. You will want to unlock the post office ASAP. Some boxes are better than others and tailor them to your needs. If you play “actively” on one account, then you can forego the “fight box” for a bit as the main benefit is AFK gains. Looking at the wiki, you can play around and see what is best for you (drop rarity and defense are always useful).

Like what lava said about classes in his w1 vid (warrior, mage, archer), you also wanna do the same with subclasses (i suggest do the skill specialized ones first, like barb, shaman, bowman. After, you can do w3 skills/ the ones that do better damage [other than squire], like squire, wizard, and hunter)

thorny storm
#

Are you maximizing afk gains? Check out the Star Talent book in Alchemy! At least half of your dudes should be maxing afk gains!

New and improved! You can have 2 presets. So you can have an active build and an afk one!

  1. The absolute first thing you should do in W2 is complete Whattso's quest line (if you can 😅 ). Doing so boosts your fishing level to 16. That's 16 (15?) more talent points, the ability to equip a gold fishing rod for improved stats, and you can start catching hermit cans to unlock the post office.
  2. Certain quests in W2 are best left for later. For example, if you wait to do Bandit Bob's Bullet Time quest until after you complete Carpetiem's Old Timey Crafting, you will save a bunch of resources (though with party dungeons around the corner, this might be less true).
  3. Sometimes going backwards is the best way to move forward. After you get a subclass, consider going back to W1 and working your way up the tree in order to gain access to new star signs and gain a few more levels. Walking Sticks and Nuttos yield decent experience at this time and are easier to deal with than some of the new W2 mobs. With a few levels under your belt, and some Amarok gear, taking on W2 will be much easier.
  4. Every character can go to W2 as soon as one character beats Amarok. Even the lowest level characters should take time to visit the Alchemy cauldron in W2 so they can start gaining EXP. Assigning them to cauldrons with another character, before they have visited, will result in zero EXP gain until they do.
  5. To face Efaunt, and unlock W3, you will need a key. Djonuttown's quest line is the best way to start getting keys. However, if you really need to get to W3 fast in order to access the really cool new skills and features, you might try your luck getting keys from chests in the Colosseum. Bronze Chests have a 1 in 25 chance to give a key.

In the vendor shop is an item called the Guilding tool which costs 5 gold. Buy it and drop it in front of the statue to be able to upgrade any statues so they affect all characters instead of statues being a personal stat boost.

  1. The fact that subclasses are important and that the quest doesn't use up the materials (seen some people who didn't know this) and it should be one of the first things you should aim for in W2.
  2. less w2 specific but the ability to order your storage from quick ref, isn't that well known either as it isn't something learned to you at all and instead something you have to (accidently) figure out yourself or be thought by someone else.

15 tips to BEAT WORLD 2 - Idleon Guide

  • Funny intro with funny joke in it *
  1. When you enter W2, go talk to the Cactus Cowboy over there only the right. He says to get 100K kills in the sand pots so Definitely Do That 😉. Just kidding, you only need to kill 7 sand pots ACTIVELY to pass the quest.

  2. To the left is the Fishing Area. Fishing is essential to making most of the items in World 2, and I recommend following that whales quest on the warrior that you want to make fish. He gives you a TON of free fishing experience to help you get a Copper Fishing Rod.

  3. The Cauldron, which is to the left of the portal you've exited from, is very important and must be invested in quickly. I recommend check my tutorials on using them. They're totally pogge-

  4. The Post office riiight above the portal is another cornerstone of World 2. Be sure you got the Anvil Tab 2 by getting resources from the area after the Wode Planks. To make the boxes to unlock it, you need to have already progressed through World 2 well enough to get the Megalodon Teeth, Hermit Cans, & Distilled water.

  5. Like in World 1, tasks are very important, and give you access to trophy points to get more recipes & merit points to get many good things. Complete his quest by showing your AWESOME weapons that helped you beat Amarok. Once you get some Merit Points, be sure to invest 1 point into Obol Drop Chance, then points into AFK Gains for each of your characters. Then you can invest your points into Respawn Rate and maybe even in Talent Book Drop & Gem Drop. You can worry about Efaunt Armor Recipes later.

I'll add something from my noob perspective. I don't know if people are interested in this tip, but what the heck:

When doing constellation task for Mafioso, be sure to have Goldric Quest on your characters - the one with paintings. Triumphant Treason takes just one stack and you get plenty of them in 36 hours. Easy 30-50 gold depending on drop rate which can be a lot for new players.

Additional you can keep the quest when farming for other monsters (Sand Castles, Mimics or Mafiosos), but really depends on you.

TL:DR: You can sell quest items, they are 1 silver each and drop rate is nice.

I tried to do the math, one hour yields around 200 paintings, that's additional 200 silver or 2 gold per hour just for having quest active.

There is a hidden portal underneath the mimics area!

unlock the post office asap and do it systematically, scales super well

Dont hesitate to invest into alchemy

Since our dev is a troll, dont afk on moonmen more than enough to unlock the portal, get the quest from Djinn and then farm them for an eternity :))

There is only one flowering cactus in the entire game, no clue why i am telling you that, but yeah, there is one

If you're not having much trouble progressing, Sand Castles is probably the best zone to spend some time on, get decent xp and a great card

Purple "X" is your chance for bloach, the fish ur going to need the most, try to have your tackles get it up the best u can

Since ur going to be kinda overflowing with money comparing to W1, dont forget to get your stamps upgraded, but more importantly, bribes!

Dont try to go for "hEheH 3 bars into dAmaGe", these are W3 classes that arent gonna help you at all in your w2 playthrough, get bowman, shaman and barb first!

I wonder what could i do to avoid getting shot by a bandito bullet flying in a straight line...

Tip for efaunt/w2 boss (prob been mentioned a couple of times but il just post it anyways)
What u will need for efaunt:
Acc:800-825
Lvl-60+(the lvl doesnt rly matter but thats a reference on when u should kill efaunt)
Efaunt has 6 hands which u have to defeat first before u can kill him but ull only have to worry about 3 of those hands the head pat,the finger gun,and the hammer one before u head in makes sure to get hp pots and food and havin that 1 revive can help and remember to kite
Ud want to finish the headpat first (which is the top right hand) u can play safe and kill it from below if u are trying to defeat it from the top make sure when it animation stop u have to move instantly or else it will one shot u
For the finger gun(which is the bottom left hand) u can play safe and kill it from above or below but if ur at that hands platform make sure that when the finger starts doing its animation u have to move instantly either by going up or below
For the hammer(the top left hand)
If ur on a shaman or bowman this hand is ez since u can just hit it away from its hit distance Warning: the hammer also goes down to the second platfrom
If ur using a barb just kite it like always remember it animation and kite accordingly after all the hands are defeated u can easily kill efaunt.
Goodluck killing efaunt and have fun with the icy despair that is w3

Something that might seem counterproductive to do at first, is the Colosseum, however, even when you are unable to get very far, you ALWAYS get a Bronze Chest, and though the Rewards are mediocre, they can still give Hermit Cans.

What you are really after, are the Silver and Gold Chests, which you get your First at 60K and 125K Score respectively. Those can drop things like T3 Upgrade Stones from Silver, furthermore, they can drop Jellyfish, Sentient Cereal, and even Platinum Ore!

Lastly there is the Gold Chest, which can drop things like Platinum Bars, Bloaches, and Dementia Ore!

This is great for an initial boost, or Just to get that Last bit of material nessessary, especially with Bloaches being very slow to get.

(This Info was Taken from the Wiki, but before I make a fool of myself saying they can also have Fruitflies, I need to Check ingame)
