Add ads to the game

Ok, hear me out. I want to support the development of the game without spending too much money. Not everybody has the privilege to spend money on the game. Of course, the ads need to be non-intrusive, so they shouldn't pop up in the middle of the game because no one likes that.

So, here's the idea that popped into my head: What if there was an NPC that gives you an ad, and as a reward, it gives you points? You can then exchange these points for items like candies or green gems. People often discuss ways of getting free green gems, and I think this solution is pretty good. Lava gets money, and we get gems/items.

Honestly, regarding green gems, I would really support this. Lava can make money and we get Doot faster. Would be fine for both sides.

i think it goes both ways with ads as you'd probably lose a LOT of long time players that do spend what time and money they have on supporting the game

the whole reason behind green gems would get fucked, I don't think people will have issues with cheating in ad skips, points and stuff

that's not how it works lol, he can secure whatever he wants server side, just limit the rate at which you can do it and limit it to a reasonable amount per day and people wouldn't be able to cheat any more beyond that
