You can improve accuracy by adding stones to your gear. For example, add w4 shop stones on your mage to give it wisdom, and then equipping that gear on your warriors

the mirror gives you challenges that you complete to unlock upgrades, many of them you won't complete for a while

have you unlocked it? basically complete the tasks and unlock things, sometimes new upgrades you need to wait for the bar to max to upgrade one and you can keep going

when you claim afk with it equipped you have the option to splice instead, you wont get any loot but will get dna instead to level pets in breeding
