I would either recommend doing the 101k breakpoint or mixing it up, what I have is 4 characters on first one and 3 on the purple one that gives bonus levels. really the only one you care about is the first one. you will reach a point around 2-5k lvls where your not getting as much or so it feels due to breakpoints and thats when you want to go focus some other chapters for bonuses in spel after getting some you can come back
