1. it's way harder than the previous ones, any tips?
2. even though I'm making it to wave 8ish it always says at the end that my max wave is 0. Is there like a wave floor you have to get to before it counts?

well higher wave u get the easier it is to get

it counts every 10s when u beat them

so leaving on wave 10 wont count but beating wave 10 and leaving on 11 will show wave 10

1. Yep it's hard, you're going to need a good boulder roller level or poisonic elder. Follow a guide on YT (or I'll look in the disc for the setup)
2. I only counts the previous wave if you beat the current wave (aka, if you spam to wave 8 but don't beat it, it won't count waves 1-7 as beaten)

Early worship boulder roller, party and frozen towers are your carries

Position them so you get frozen up first and then 2-3 boulders then frozone. Parties can most likely go anywhere that isn't blocking a boulder from hitting a slowed mob.

Upgrades, I usually go one +time slowed and the rest slowed %, boulders should mostly be +amount hit unless ines really far back then it can get enough longevity to be useful

Party towers are for attack speed.
