Here is what to do. Put your SB in gmush. Prefferably have over a million kph. Or higher if possible. And go on another character. Wait 2-3 min and go back to your SB. And instead of claiming drops, splice instead.

Depends on mob to mob. Higher mobs need more. But you do not need to max them. You just need to increase the chance until unlocking the next mob. 1 in 10 or lower is great but later on you'll see you can sometimes gamble a little and get lucky.
