While you could use it sure, I would recommend to actually understand when and when not to rank up your salts.

those charts are made for EXACTLY levels assuming you consistently rank up when possible and level you at only the salts needed to rank up - what you should do is give yourself a 5+ level gap to stack salts for buildings

do you use IT?
if so that makes life so much easier (as you can see more percicly as to how much salt per cycle you produce and how much salt the next one consumes)
and then panda practiclly makes it so you can just straight up ignore rankingup order and just always rank everything up as soon as they fill

but you can run into salt issues if you overconsume salt lol
it slows down rankups and everything if you use too much and dont leave enough to rankup if you are pushing refinery ranks
