especially combined with the 100% chance to claim spices talent after 1h of afk because that bypasses the daily 100 claims

so max that talent on all and go for it

Always rank up red and green, the others auto refine as necessary for upgrades but rank up when possible

It’ll go way faster when you hit lab and get the sample and refinery nodes

can some1 explaing which trap box should i use if i need to catch many critters? i've found out that using lower tier gives me much more critters than my highest tier trap box and im confused -.-

If I remove the skilling talent boosts from a character, or am on an fight preset with not much skilling stuff, and I don't visit that mechanic - say, DK with gaming for example - does it affect the returns? i.e. Can I have gaming skills turned completely off until I actually access the gaming interface? (I'm actually more concerned about WW atm, need talent points but don't wanna mess up sneaking; I've actually had that stuff turned on in my fighting preset because I hadn't been doing WW stuff.)

i thiiink you have to be on the preset that has those talents upgraded in order to get the effects of those talents. so if youre off the gaming talents those wont affect your gaming returns.

I'm pretty sure you have to have those talents active to get the effects, lol. (Like - being on skilling preset screws up fighting.) Let me give a specific example: Say I zeroed this skill, and then did windwalker for 48 hours, and nobody visited sneaking in that time, then just before I visited I either added to the skill or switched presets, would I get the bonus for the 48 hours? (Am I still explaining this badly? 🤣 )

Hey so I’ve been seeing stuff about how berserker’s good for your main character in terms of pushing to new worlds, should I swap from using squire as my pushing character to my berserker? I’m about halfway through W3 right now.

Until you get to W4 and get elite classes it’s gonna be your strongest char for kills per hour. Don’t worry too much about skilling right now

Now that you’re in W3 you should be using the 3D printer for resources

Yeah I am. To be honest I haven’t checked any guides until like an hour ago, so I’m somewhat scattered in terms of what the guides say to do lol. Currently have most of my characters grinding for rare resources to get better gear for my squire to keep being able to push worlds.

I’m 3 maps away from the boss stage on W3 with the squire, so I’m mostly wondering if it would be worthwhile to try and swap my berserker to my main pushing character or just keep going since he’s gotten this far

All good, stuff is very confusing at first. Just get a set of amarok for your squire and he’ll be fine for pushing to W4. Spend all your money on upgrades in the vault for money, accuracy, and defense

Don’t neglect the other stuff in the vault, it’s all fairly cheap at first. Accuracy and defense are for making sure your survivability and afk kills are good

Mostly was wondering about the squire vs berserker thing due to like “man, is it just the extra portal kills, or is it worth having the berserker beefed up more than the rest” but the elite class thing puts it into a different perspective for me entirely so

the barbarian elite class (blood berserker) is pretty weak for pushing, he doesn't really pick up until world 6

he's mainly useful for pushing through worlds 1-3 quickly to reach 4 as soon as possible so you can get those elite classes online

2. Advance statues to zenith
3. Complete Onyx quest on another character up until the part where you need to manually drop 100k statues
4. At this point all Zenith statues revert their values back to grey statues instead of zenith statues. This value is reflected in both idelonefficiency and idleontoolbox.

Oh, so now that everyone is in the lab, at some point, put your shrines in town 4. (I'd wait until you get...I think it's a Jade skill, W6, to move them, because that lets you move them without losing the points accrued for the current level.

People sitting in the lab will level up your shrines at that point. And there's another skill (ugh, maybe THIS is the Jade one, would have to look it up), that with the Lab skill makes the shrine bonuses available everywhere.

I'm not sure on that, but I'll trust ya. (lol, I have problems with the minigames, so couldn't get the bag of peanuts required to take Journeyman to Maestro for a long time. So he was pretty leveled up at that point.)

Make sure you have (and raise) the ladle skill, and use BB. And if you're trying to get a new recipe, do your first 2-4 kitchens, assuming they have levels on them. When you inevitably don't get it in the first kitchen - lol - just reset it, and add a few more ladles. THe slower kitchens will gradually get there, too. (Also, I go to at least the blue flame, not the first red one, and started hitting a lot more often after that.)

Though maybe your cooking luck is better than mine was, lol.

For leveling meals, if you check IT (turn on the ladle checkbox) and sort by...I think it's time, It'll show you meals that take the fewest ladles to get to the next meal level. Makes it a lot more efficiency.

I was gonna show you an IT screenshot but I went on sort of a blitz yesterday and don't have anything left to level right now.

Yeah ive figured almost all of this stuff out somehow from alot of tinkering with different kitchens. Ive never tried to go for blue fire though so I might try that out. Im only missing just a little bit more eff to get 4x cooking efficiency and imma get a fk ton of laddles from that.
