Iirc grey DNA is just hard to get. Just try to get the stamp to increase the amount you get per egg. After you get the stamp you have the option of using dk to fight the w4 mushroom miniboss through the regular spawn or colosseum. That miniboss drops eggs and the higher your drop the more eggs you'll get

The second to last breeding upgrade helps a little as well cause it gives you some eggs back at a low rate after you use your last one .

The stamp is for splicer dna. The only buff to grey dna is an engineer schematic in w5 caverns that gives you a chance at extra dna per pow10 gravel you own

Nope. You do get more exp for higher egg rarity tho. So getting grey dna and exp are kinda the opposite. Grey dna is just spamming as many eggs as possible while exp is letting them sit and upgrade.

You need to put on all your skill eff buffs, all your general and skill afk buffs, specialised class ofc, specialised gfood (gpeanuts for mining, gribs for fishing, etc), you also need to make your characters who give bonuses such as vman and AC have their bonuses active meaning you have to switch out their loadout, you have to get the highest raw stats that you can from your equipment (you also have to buff your other tools that aren't tied to your specialised skill such as axes, rods, traps, etc) you gotta put on your chip doublers if you have them, max out your food and gfood buffs, get all the regular food that buffs your skill eff for the skill (tainted pearls, icing ironbite, gingerbreadman are examples for mining foods) and just a fuckton of different things

I don’t think I had carrot until I was in w5 lol. Lab is slow for sure, but it gets worse with divinity… at least you can do both at once eventually. Cooking will be maxed instantly once you get the bubo masterclass from w6, for now just work on the diamond chef bubble
