hi all, returning player here. When I last played I remember there was a thing where you should only open construction on your DK and only open alchemy on your bubo otherwise it wouldn't count the bonuses from their passive abilities. Is that still a thing?

Also, if I'm running active DK in the fighting preset, if I swap back to my skilling preset before opening construction would it retroactively apply those passives to my construction? (same question for alchemy)

I just remember that if you opened construction on a non-DK character it would calculate the construction build rate based on the character that opened construction, so if you wanted the build rate passive you had to open it on DK

I last played like 2 years ago though

oh I see, it snapshots when I enter a map. if I swap preset then move maps then it updates the build rate

I can confirm I had higher build rate when opening construction on my DK in skilling preset compared to a different character. so I will continue only opening construction on DK. thanks!
