reaching gambit will give you a huge boost to your summoning slime power the same day because you'll get a bunch of doublers and put them on like Seeing Red and "when you dump hand you get more mana" and a few other huge ones and all of a sudden you can win 200 summoning fights in a row

i guess depends on where you were at in summoning before you get to gambit but it was instant huge power for me at that time
