Hey everyone. I have a question about refinery salts and the ranking up / powering up since the wiki is hard to understand.. In order to make the POWER per Cycle HIGHER than the salts' below need (orange salts need 8 red for me, but red is only producing 6 per cycle) - HOW do I get the # of salts per cycle higher than the below while keeping the second / third / fourth salts producing without making their needs increase?

So to understand at a baseline the salts (in order) require
0/2/2/1/2/2
of the prior salt to run, so you need the Power/Cycle value of the respective salt to be less then the salt required of the prior, so for Explosive you want your power/cycle half of redox, and spontaneous half of explosive

if you toggle the view rank back you'll see the button "Auto Refine" if it's set to "On" you won't rank up and the power/cycle won't increas

yea, your refinery rank determines the Power/Cycle which is the amount of salt generated, so when you are having trouble generating salt you need to upgrade the prior salt so it makes more faster

Okay awesome! So to get it running at a break even from here, I need to get to 8 red salts - then keep leveling up red salts so that I'm more than break even. I think I got it!

Redox has no salt requirement so it can basically always be left at auto refine off since it requires no special salats

all future salts you can just rank them up when your prior salt generation will not be turned into a deficit by upgrading, so you need double the production of red as you have orange, and double the production of orange you have blue

Blue to green is a bit of a different situation and you can effectively always have green with Auto Refine OFF as well like red, the reason for such being that the cycle time of the second tab of salts is 4x longer than the first, and the salt cost is 1 instead of 2, so you effectively need 1/4th the production of blue as you need green to keep it positive

FMJ gives defense and Shaq gives accuracy, they are useful early on, although shaqs material requirement can be kind of rough early since it's Bloaches

for sake of examples of the values, they are linear, each level is 0.5 the values for FMJ and 1 for Shaq

oh I guess that is true early on, used to the ratio I have currently where I get significantly more normal cycles than talent cycles even on CD (that and I think my blues are already double green so it wholly negates that ratio difference)

realistically though it's unlikely you'll even manage to get your green to be 2x higher than blue, let alone 4x higher so even if the ratio is less than 1:4 even at 1:3 it's likely the salts will be closer to 1:1 if not 2:1
