it just kind of takes forever and is slow early though until you hit a critical mass of unlocked plots + unlocked plants. because the thing that actually makes it start snowballing is the Night Market upgrade that gives you like a couple percent speed increase per crop you are holding 1000+ of, when you have enough points in that you wind up having plants take a second to grow instead of a few hours. and that costs Magic Beans. and to get magic beans you have to sell your whole farm to the npc. and he gives you waaaaay more beans for later crops, so unlocking crops is huge for bean turn-in yield

but like just go check on it every so often for a month or so and then at some point you'll go "hmm maybe i should turn in, buy the speed night market thing, and start locking the farm til i have 1000 apples, then 1000 oranges, then 1000 etc" and once you do that you'll get WAY more beans and buy more speed and then after a few loops you'll have a day where you can clikc farming to make huge advances with no wait for like 5 hours in a row lol

I'm not certain what specifically you're asking, if you're asking if it's worth only having 1 of a shiny vs multiple of ones I would say that depends on the goal
For both Breedaility and Shinies it's relevant to note the amount of progress you get scales linearly with extra copies, however the cost for future levels scales drastically breedability especially so your levelling rate will decrease as you increase in level
From such I would say on shinies it's kind of mixed, for relevant pets putting multiple on them on is pretty useful but for any of the lower value ones I woulds say stick to 1 of each
For breedability if you are trying to unlock new ones I would say for those pet(s) multiple would be fine but outside of that I would personally only advise 1 per as increasing your breedability levels wide is better than increasing them within a select few as the day investment to level output will be significantly higher and the count of levels are relevant for Windwalker
If you are specifically going for the Breedability 7 on 15 pets you could do multiple although since you can't fit a multiple of that count (27 slots max instead of the 30 needed) I would say you might as well just have 1 of each of the 15 and do it that way

You could try oranges. Iirc that was the original map to farm shinies/plunders in W5
