yeah before you only had to complete the quest of the Lord of the Hunt to unlock the critter, now you gotta reach their map to actually place a trap. It's a balance change lava made recently

• Unlocking critters via Lord of the Hunt as a mechanic has been REMOVED. You now have access to all critters from the start -- although you still need to reach their respective maps of course. Instead, Lord of the Hunt gives +10% Critter Gain for every quest of his you complete.

I'd try to aim for at least wave 50 on the w1-5 ones then from there whenever you get upgrades and feel like you can push significantly higher is a good time. The floppy disks you get let you "save" after every 10 waves and future runs become much less tedious as you no longer have to start from wave 1

If you can't kill your higher count wormhole mobs then es wastes a lot of time since you need to be able to kill wormhole mobs to trigger the respawn. DK is easier as you just need map cleared to respawn

it is a bit confusing but basically anvil items are created when you log in to a character and not constantly over time like you might think so when the auto arm collects all the stuff then you log in to a character again they produce more anvil items right then based on afk time
