weekly boss has your characters all take turns vs the boss and this week, when it is the 2nd or 8th character in your roster, the only stat it uses is their fishing level

for character 3 and 10 the only stat it uses is their chopping level, etc. it requires a decent amount of total account progression and being sorta well rounded on everyone but when it becomes doable its suddenly no big deal every week, basically. i think it was around 6 weeks in for me when i was able to get one for the equinox challenge and they've all been completely free since? poke at it and see if you can do it, but if you can't its not worth like spending a pile of candies to improve at it. it gets easier to level everything a bit later and your levels don't need to be THAT high to beat this
