From 10 to 1m it gradually increases the time it takes to produce salt, but every rank up after 1m will gradually reduces the time it takes to fill the bar again. Salts is painfully slow at the start but will ramp up to the point its annoying how often you'll need to look at refinery lmao

the main reason for ranking them is the absurd amount of salt you need for stuff like salt lick and vials

plus its 6 more greenstacks for damage
