well simply each trap u can eqiup has its own unique effects so some traps gives a lot of qun number of mobs and a lot of xp and some give a lot of qun and a high change or shiny mostly u would want all ur characters set traps and u collect them with ur hunter since u will need them to progress in the construct to unlock stuff and also some items to craft

it will collect it from anywhere even for the other chracters but it will lose some of its catching

other way is u walk to the place where u set the traps and manually go and collect them by clicking on the trap itself
