because it was never technically 2x. it was like 1.4 or 1.7x I think. But that doesn't work well at lower levels, so you see a lot of 2x ratios (also because that's easier to remember)

At "higher levels" (depending on what you're actually meaning) it's usually just leveling red as much as possible to build up enough in storage to finish vials and fuel everything else

You stop needing void salt after a while and it's pretty easy to GS, so then you just start working on stockpiling everything else
