Personally I got all my characters to W4 elite class at the same time basically. So you could probably do the same. It's pretty early on so not the worst to candy there or just AFK them.

Also DK should be your main pusher basically in W4 because of how much accuracy they get. so you might as well get DK going

And it will register even if you don't have the slab unlocked
