You will stay in Lab until you unlock W5, then you will take all those in the lab and bring them to the divinity altar. You will stay here until you have the god Gohaurt, enabling you to do both lab and div at the same time. After this, you may return to the lab and get to L75 Lab and L40 Div. You will return later to get to 2100 total lab levels once you get Laboratory Bling in W6

2 kinds of pets go into the fenceyard. Shinies, which give bonuses based on how many levels they have, whichi increases the longer they stay in the fenceyard; and Breedability pets, which increase the chance to unlock the next pet, also increases through time in the fenceyard

I would say you should push W4 and try to get to W5. most people suggest putting your characters into lab so that you can reach the lab skill that makes it so kill count twice for portals. you can still work on some past worlds in the mean time. like with alchemy. But pushing is probably the main goal. I didn't respond at first because I was hoping someone with more knowledge than me would respond.

Best advice I can give you is to make sure your construction doesn't fall behind. I think it is the single most brutal skill to fall behind on as bad construction means you're locked out of souls, and just about everything else. Can also take months to get back on track
