It's worth putting 1-3 chars in when you dont need them. But mainlyh you want to get your shaman to elite class and stick it in there... and then when yhou get w5 and divinity skill then you stick all your characters in jail in the lab

at a minimum though if you can time it to put characters in there at your daily reset then you want to have them at the cauldron bonus

You can start considering easier ones, maybe not up to lvl 30 or 40 at the moment

Maybe some gold tools to start

can try and see if you can get a few quick lvl if you mostly ignored them, but dont waste too much time on it once it slow down

will also depend on how much efficiency they have with the base tool
