If u got full dimentia armor plus tools/keychains/etc def equips, and push ur def on stamps, bubbles, apple dishes, and get ur star signs far enough for the 5% and 6% bonuses combined, with ur gold foods, enhancement stones and mega feathers/mega fish, AND possible re stat to max ur def and hp stats, (and lvl up n use all shrines, the hp shrine increases survivability), then u should b taking closer to 16-40 dmg

Everyone's experiences may be different, but I found almost 0 use in having my BB in the kitchen for most of my playthrough. The amount of bonus cooking speed you get from various sources in the game is absolutely absurd. Ladles en masse can be obtained from weekly big mush kills/world 4 colo.
I basically made the jump from farming out zows to farming out super chows, and it's worked pretty well for me
BUT one thing that is pretty smart is getting genes while doing any sort of BB afking, so make sure you atleast equip your BB with a high tier gene splicer before hand imo

(he will be going into the kitchen soon enough as I do need to farm out 100k ladles for equinox, and for my last push from meal level 70 to 90)

I calculated that I do 30k kills hour with lab node it's 60k and if it stacks with insect god in w5 it may reach 120k on green mushrooms

1 pt into speedrun first then get a nice good speedrun portal count. Aim for about 10 to 15 first if you want.
