Depending of your objectives, you can. But in the early game, your biggest focus is to upgrade your skills efficiency. The more you are able to produce skills ressources, the more you print.
The more you print, the more you invest in alchemy and stamps to upgrade skills.
Better skills means better print again and you repeat the cycle.
