Well that drop only appears in w1, and there are no other requirements. There is a merit unlock needed for boss drops, but other than that not sure.

Head back to w1, and continue to farm, you must have just not been lucky, or you didn't pick it up once

Specifically for the obols, Sandcastles. Further into the map the higher rate it is to hit the rare table which DK is known for farming. But Sandcastle is one of the few maps more friendly for DK to farm effectively.
